What is the difference between Stoffer Home, Stoffer Home Cabinetry, and Jean Stoffer Design?
Stoffer Home - Where you will find our curated selection of beautiful home, kitchen, and bath decor along with lighting, hardware, rugs, furniture and more. Open to all and available online and at our brick and mortar shop in Grand Rapids, MI. Enjoy a coffee as you shop from our in-house cafe, The Bradbury.
While Stoffer Home is technically separate from Stoffer Home Cabinetry and Jean Stoffer Design services, we work closely with both teams to help clients select furnishings for a wide range of projects. We are able to help our customers with simple decor selections either in store or online via contact@stofferhome.com.
Stoffer Home Cabinetry - This is where you will find our top-of-the-line semi-custom cabinetry and vanity lines. Clients work remotely with our cabinetry designers to outfit their space with beautiful made to order cabinetry that will stand the test of time. Our kitchen designers are able to use our cabinetry to create functional kitchens, mudrooms, laundry rooms, pantries, bookcases, bars, and more. Jean Stoffer Design - Clients work alongside Jean Stoffer and her dedicated team on fully custom interior design projects. The JSD team is unable to take any new design clients at this time. If you wish to contact the team, you are able to do so here. How do I get more information about SHC?
- Visit the SHC FAQ page here.
- When you are ready for a formal quote for your project, fill out the inquiry form. Precise measurements are needed, prepare beforehand. Stoffer Home Cabinetry is only able to provide quotes to customer who complete the inquiry form completely and accurately.
Am I able to return cabinetry samples?
All samples are final sale.
Are the Stoffer Home Cabinetry custom finishes available as paint that I can purchase separately?
We do not sell our custom paint colors in cans. Our exclusive colors are exclusive to the Stoffer Home Cabinetry and Vanity line.

Is Jean Stoffer Design currently taking on new clients for custom projects?
Jean Stoffer Design is currently at capacity for all custom projects for the foreseeable future. If you would like to book a one-on-one design consultation with Jean Stoffer or Grace Start, you can sign up for a time slot on TheExpert.com. Prices and availability vary.
Lead Times
What is a lead time?
This is the estimated amount of time it will take for an item to be manufactured and prepared to ship. We work alongside the manufacturers to give our best estimate for each lead time, but please note that they may be subject to change. Check the product page or reach out to contact@stofferhome.com for the most up to date lead times.
Are the lead times on the product pages accurate?
We do our best to keep all product pages on our website up to date with the most accurate lead times for each item. If you would like to double check the lead time for a particular item, please reach out to contact@stofferhome.com. If you order an item and the lead time is longer than what is listed on the product page, a member of our team will reach out to notify you of the change within 3-5 business days.
Returns / Exchanges
How long do I have to make a return?
In general, Stoffer Home has a 30 day return policy. All returns must be returned within 30 days of the delivery date with proof of purchase. Unfortunately we are unable to accept returns on items such as lighting, hardware, artwork, curtain rods, rugs, cabinetry samples, vanities, or furniture. How do I make a return?
Please read our return policy here to see if your order is eligible for return. If your order is eligible for return, submit your return request at our Returns Center here. Items returned that are not requested through our returns center link may be refused by our returns department. Once your return is approved, you will get an email detailing where to send your return. Please ship it back to us using the carrier of your choice.
Any returns will be credited back to the payment method originally used for the purchase, unless store credit is requested. Again, you will be refunded the cost of the merchandise being returned. This does not include the cost of shipping.
How do I make an exchange?
In order to exchange, items must be returned and then reordered. Exchanges are subject to product availability.
General Questions
What is the trade discount?
The Stoffer Home Trade Account is available to licensed Interior Designers only. Our trade discount is 20% off and does not include Stoffer Home Cabinetry items such as cabinetry, vanities, or cabinetry samples. This discount cannot be applied to orders placed before account approval or account creation.
When is your next sale?
We do not announce our sales until they begin.
Are sales prices final?
Items purchased on sale are final sale. Sale prices cannot be extended after the sale has ended or before the sale has begun.
